Our Method
Diamond Resort House is built to read the same way wherever you open it. This page explains the lenses we use, what we deliberately leave out, and how the listing links are meant to work.
The categories every entry is read through
Every property in this guide is described through five quiet questions: how you arrive, how the rooms feel, how dining is framed, how public space holds people, and what the surroundings do once you step outside. We do not invent a sixth lens for marketing flourish.
Arrival covers the approach — street, driveway, water’s edge — and the first minutes indoors. Rooms are noted for atmosphere and outlook rather than inventory lists. Dining is described as part of the property’s daily rhythm, not as a menu digest.
Public space and surroundings close the circle. Together they keep Urban Properties and By the Water comparable, so a reader can move between catalogues without learning a new vocabulary on each page.
Why the entries carry no prices, no availability and no star-ranking of our own
They change by the hour. Publishing either would turn this guide into a promise we cannot keep. Diamond Resort House therefore writes about character and setting, and leaves transactional facts to the parties who actually hold them.
We also refuse to invent a house ranking. Where a star class appears beside an entry, it is the category supplied with that property’s public data — not a score we awarded after a stay. Our prose does not compete with those marks or try to outrank them.
Independence depends on that restraint. The moment a guide starts implying a bargain, a vacancy or a preferred tier, it stops being observational. We would rather stay useful as description than pretend to be a desk.
Where the photography comes from and what it does and does not show
Photographs on this site illustrate the entry they sit beside. They show a façade, a shoreline, a lobby light or open ground at a particular moment. They are not a guarantee of any specific room, table or facility on the day you visit.
We do not use images as proof of luxury or as a substitute for the written description. A calm exterior can sit next to a casino resort; a wide terrace can belong to a city hotel. The caption and the prose do the naming; the frame simply anchors place.
Unused files stay unused. If a layout wants more pictures than we have assigned, we redesign the block rather than invent a coloured panel or borrow from another entry. That discipline keeps the catalogue honest about what it can show.
How to use the listing links, and why the official listing page is always the authority
Each catalogue card ends with a single outbound control: Open the Listing Page. That link belongs to the property’s official listing and opens away from Diamond Resort House. It is the only kind of external link we place on venue cards.
Once you leave, that site’s own policies, house rules and information apply. We do not mirror those pages, and we cannot correct them. If something on our entry and something on the listing disagree, trust the listing.
Use this guide to decide whether a property’s setting and tone interest you. Use the listing when you need facts that change. That division — description here, authority there — is the whole method in one sentence. Questions about our copy alone can be sent through Contact Us.
